Former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has said Africa possesses key solutions to global issues like climate change and sustainable development. Speaking at the Imo State Economic Summit 2025 in Owerri, he stressed that true global sustainability cannot be achieved without addressing Africa’s unique challenges. Ban highlighted the disproportionate impact of climate disasters on African nations, which contribute just 4% of global emissions, and urged political leaders worldwide to accelerate emission cuts and uphold the Paris Agreement.
Tinubu Receives Letters of Credence from 21 Foreign Envoys President Bola Tinubu on Thursday received Letters of Credence from 17 ambassadors and four high commissioners at the State House, Abuja.
