Abia APC Group Alleges Otti’s Visit to President Tinubu Was Political, Not About Nnamdi Kanu

Abia APC Group reveals reason Otti visited President Tinubu, debunk Nnamdi Kanu’s release claim * Exposes how and why APC rejected his defection to party

Contrary to the propaganda pushed by Governor Alex Otti’s media team on his visit to the villa yesterday, Nnamdi Kanu’s release was never part of the conversation during that meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Rather, what Otti desperately sought was his political survival and to intimate the President of his next political intention. Desperately, Otti even canvassed dissolution of the entire APC structure in Abia State so he could take over the party but the request was roundly rejected.

Having failed completely in his mission, Otti
decided to take his only available option, which is the “Prof. Soludo’s style”, to join APGA and work for Mr. President’s reelection bid while completely abandoning Mr Peter Obi, the very man whose goodwill helped him become governor.

While Otti believes he is politically smartest, those he is trying to deceive are fully aware of his survivalist tactics. His visit to President Tinubu was purely about his personal political safety, nothing about Nnamdi Kalu’s freedom. The attempt by his aides to spin a different narrative fits perfectly into their well known pattern of manipulation and deceit. The lovers of Nnamdi Kanu they tried to emotionally blackmail will soon be disappointed when Otti formally announces his return to APGA, going back to his vomit and dumping Peter Obi completely.

It is on record that yesterday marked the second time Otti has met privately with President Tinubu since 29th, May, 2023. The first was brokered by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu shortly after the Supreme Court judgment. The second was this recent visit, where he reportedly informed the President of his planned political “jumpology” back to APGA. Yet Otti continues to brag to his aides about how close he is to Mr President.

Meanwhile, multiple invitations from Abia State to the Presidency have been repeatedly declined or cancelled at the last minute, with representatives sent instead, which had continuously embarrassed the Abia State Government. So the excitement of his aides over this rare visit only exposes how desperate they have been to stage manage a facade of relevance.

Our source further exposed that Otti went to the Villa to brag of his influence in Abia, popularity and that he controls the Abia voting population. He therefore, begged to join the APC on the condition that all existing structures be dissolved for him. But knowing that Abia APC is already gaining strength and preparing to take over Government House through the ballot, such an outrageous request was immediately rejected, insider sources said that Otti is simply not a prized political asset like Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu for Abia APC structure to be dissolved for me.

As evidence of his newfound allegiance, close observers noted that yesterday’s press release from the Abia State Government regarding the commissioning of the Niger Delta Power Holding project carried a strange tone, a clear departure from Otti’s usual habit of claiming every achievement for himself. It bore all the marks of someone eager to impress the Presidency.

In the coming days, do not be surprised to see Otti’s aides, who previously attacked President Tinubu, suddenly become “mouthed” praise singers. The real question is whether Otti can restrain the Obidients on social media who have made insulting President Tinubu their pastime.

Where does this Otti’s new political voyage leave Mr Peter Obi, when it is nolonger a secret that Otti did not even consult him before finalising his next political plan because almost certainly, Otti does not intend to support Mr. Peter Obi should he seek the presidential ticket again.

Otti has placed himself in a dangerous political position. Obidients will come after him the moment he openly declares support for Tinubu, while those he promised loyalty to in the Villa will expect him to fulfill that commitment. However, in trying to play both sides, Otti has dribbled himself politically.
