Attack on President Tinubu by Abia State Government.

The Abia State Ministry of Lands in Umuahia has allegedly moved to seal the Renewed Hope Partners office, a federal-linked initiative associated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, located along Ojike Lane. To many observers, this action appears unnecessary and provocative, sparking concerns that it may be driven by political motives rather than administrative necessity. Supporters of the initiative view the sealing as a direct affront to the President’s efforts to deepen federal presence and development across the state.

Critics argue that the decision reflects a calculated attempt to frustrate the President’s Renewed Hope agenda, particularly in light of the visible projects and interventions already carried out in Aba, Umuahia, and other parts of Abia State—achievements they believe the current state government has not fully acknowledged to its residents. They maintain that such actions do not only undermine progress but also threaten the collaborative spirit needed between federal and state authorities for meaningful development.
