Big Ben Is Focused — Leadership First, Politics Later

Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu remains firmly focused on leadership and service, not political distractions. While the APC will, at the appropriate time, support a candidate in Abia State, the public is urged to ignore the noise and manufactured narratives. More of such distractions are expected, but they will not derail the mission.

A fundamental question remains: why is there so much fear over someone who has not declared, more than over those who have openly declared? The answer is evident in the growing influence and impact of purposeful leadership.

If keeping our name on your lips is part of a strategic marketing effort, then so be it. We take it as a testament to relevance and rising momentum. Leadership comes first; politics will follow at the right time. There is a season for everything, and this is the season of service.

Muslim faithful across Nigeria have celebrated Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan with large gatherings in major cities such as Abuja, Lagos, Kano, and Maiduguri. Worshippers thronged designated prayer grounds to observe special Eid prayers, expressing gratitude and seeking blessings after a month of fasting and devotion. In their sermons, religious leaders emphasized the importance of peace, compassion, and social responsibility, urging both leaders and citizens to uphold unity and contribute to national development. The celebrations were also marked by messages of goodwill and reflections on the spiritual lessons of Ramadan.
