Justice Omotosho orders the trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu Continue in his absence

Justice Omotosho gave the order following a brief of remarks by the prosecution Counsel, Adegboyega Awomolo after what he called unruly behavior of Kanu in court this morning.

Recall that Nnamdi Kanu at the resumed trial of the matter this morning raised objections against the judgement to be delivered by Justice Omotosho.

Kanu in the course of the trial interrupted the proceeding severally, a development that forced the presiding judge to stand down the matter and ordered Kanu to excuse the court.

At the resumed sitting, Awomolo while addressing the court described the attitude of the accused person as unruly and unbecoming thereby asked the court to continue the trial in his absence.

In his short ruling, Justice Omotosho noted that Kanu has abused the privilege and granted to him by the court.

He thereby ruled that the trial will continue in his absence.
