Onyeama Augustine Condemns Brutal Torture of Master Chiziterem, Demands Immediate Justice

Hon. Onyeama Augustine has strongly condemned the brutal torture allegedly inflicted on Master Chiziterem, a young boy from Anambra State, describing the incident as barbaric, inhumane, and a gross violation of the fundamental rights of a child. Reacting to reports of the disturbing abuse, Onyeama expressed deep sorrow and anger over the ordeal suffered by the victim, stressing that no child deserves to be subjected to such cruelty under any circumstance. He noted that the incident has shocked the conscience of society and raised serious concerns about the protection of children within communities.

The respected philanthropist and community leader called on relevant security agencies and authorities to launch a comprehensive investigation into the matter and ensure that all individuals responsible for the torture are identified and brought to justice. According to him, allowing perpetrators of such heinous acts to escape punishment would send the wrong message and encourage further violations against vulnerable members of society. He emphasized that justice must not only be done but must also be seen to be done in order to restore public confidence in the nation's justice system.

Onyeama Augustine further stressed the need for stronger measures to safeguard the rights and welfare of children across the country. He urged parents, guardians, community leaders, and government institutions to remain vigilant and proactive in protecting children from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. He maintained that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment in which to grow, learn, and pursue their dreams without fear of violence or intimidation.
