Ever since the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, boldly challenged Governor Alex Otti to embrace transparency and accountability, the entire Labour/ZLP structure in Abia State has been thrown into disarray. Rather than provide evidence of prudent spending, Governor Otti has gone on a desperate image laundering campaign, forcing his loyalists to issue press releases defending the obvious gaps in his government.

First it was the LP caucus in the House of Representatives, followed by the Labour Party members in the State Assembly, being compelled by the governor to issue statements pledging loyalty and support even where they know that the Deputy Speaker said the obvious truth.

One thing that Governor Otti dreads most is "TRUTH"

Rather than address the fundamental issues bothering on poor performance and lack of accountability with verifiable evidence, Mr. Governor is going on a wild goose chase, forcing all his supporters to issue Press Releases abusing Ben Kalu for asking him to do more.

Reliable sources have hinted that today, 17 LGA chairmen will be issuing press statement followed by councillors and body of appointees in an orchestrated chorus of deceit and forced declaration of loyalty.

Governor Otti, why run from pillar to post? Evidence ends argument.

Show Abians the projects executed with the over ₦1 trillion received from the federation account in just two years.

Propaganda cannot replace performance. You may continue deceiving your mumu followers, but discerning Abians will keep asking.

Where are the smart schools you claimed to have built with ₦54 billion?

Where is the 6.7 billion naira Recreational Facility that was budgeted for and monies written off.

Where is the 4.3 billion naira ICT Centers that monies has been written off in 2024.

I am very sure that very soon the actors Guild and society of content creators will issue their own press statement in support of our dear Governor Amuneke.

For Governor Otti and his headless online mob governance has been reduced to skit making and social media validation.

A tragic comedy of failed leadership.
