Uba Sani Denies Being Under El-Rufai’s Political Tutelage
Kaduna State governor, Senator Uba Sani, has dismissed suggestions that he was under the political tutelage of his predecessor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, insisting that his guiding lights remained President Bola Tinubu and the late human rights lawyer, Chief Gani Fawehinmi.

Despite community appeals for urgent renovation, intervention was halted on the grounds that the project had been “awarded.” Months later, nothing has happened. This raises serious questions about the state’s claim of spending ₦100 billion on public school repairs. Smart schools do not disappear, and infrastructure does not exist only on paper. Abia people are no longer asking for explanations—they are demanding results. Where are the smart schools?

The Office of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives has dismissed as false and misleading the Abia State Government’s claims concerning infrastructure projects attracted by Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu. The office clarified that the land along the Umuahia–Bende Road was communally donated, not allocated by the state government, and described allegations of unauthorized demolition of school facilities as baseless. It further accused the Otti administration of deliberate propaganda aimed at undermining genuine development efforts, while reaffirming the Deputy Speaker’s commitment to attracting critical infrastructure to Abia State in the interest of the people.
