Abia: APC Rally Signals Unity and Readiness Ahead of 2027 Elections
The All Progressives Congress (APC) office in Umuahia, Abia State, witnessed an extraordinary gathering yesterday, drawing party members and supporters from across the state.
News of the assembly spread rapidly, creating a wave of excitement that reverberated through the political landscape. So significant was the turnout that speculations emerged about alternative venues being sealed off, including Abia Hotels Limited, initially rumored as the hosting point.
Yet, in true resilient fashion, the actual meeting held at the APC State Party Office on Adelabu Street by Azikiwe Road, where the atmosphere brimmed with energy, conviction, and a renewed sense of direction.

The turnout was overwhelming—so much so that the State Party Chairman, Hon. Chief Dr. Ononogbu, reportedly spent nearly an hour introducing key figures as political heavyweights, grassroots leaders, and long-standing stakeholders filled the venue.
The event showcased a united front of seasoned political actors deeply rooted in their communities, a contrast to what supporters described as inexperienced figures imposed by external influences in other parties.
With leaders present physically or represented by proxies, the APC demonstrated organizational strength and readiness ahead of the 2027 elections.

Enthusiasts declared that the era of political waves driven by fleeting trends was over, asserting that the next defining movement would be the APC wave. Echoing the determined spirit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2023 proclamation, party loyalists affirmed their commitment to ensuring victory in Abia State.
Their message was clear: the APC is positioning itself to reclaim the Government House in Umuahia, carrying the momentum, unity, and strategic resolve needed for electoral success.
