The CVR exercise will:

  • Enable new voters to register at approved registration points.
  • Allow existing voters to update their personal information.
  • Facilitate transfer of voter records for those who have relocated.

To ensure a smooth and accessible process, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has introduced new features on its CVR portal, allowing voters to:

  • Check the status of their voter cards,
  • Locate their designated pickup centres, and
  • Find the nearest registration locations for new registration.
“Remember: Your PVC is your key to making your voice heard in our democratic process. I urge every eligible voter across all Wards, LGAs, and States to seize this opportunity to register, update their information, collect their PVCs, and play an active role in shaping their future,”
Hon. Sir Abraham U. Oba (KSJI), Onye Uwaoma
