At a stakeholders’ meeting held in Aba, various speakers emphasized that the Old Bende Progressive Forum is merely a private organization whose opinions cannot be taken as the collective position of the people of Old Bende or of the APC family.

The meeting, hosted by the Coordinator of Club 17 Peace Initiative for Aba South LGA, Mr. Augustine Onyeama, had in attendance the 24 ward chairmen of the APC in Aba North and Aba South, business leaders, and representatives of various socio-cultural organizations.
