The leadership of the Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has raised serious concerns over alleged moves by some individuals within the party to disrupt the existing peace and stability of the organization.
According to the party leadership, reports indicate that certain members are allegedly plotting activities capable of weakening internal unity, including attempts to create a parallel Executive Committee structure within the party. The leadership described such actions as harmful to the collective progress and discipline of the APC in the state.
In response to these developments, the party has directed all members of the State Working Committee (SWC) to refrain from participating in any statewide gathering or meeting organized by any individual or group without the direct authorization of the State Chairman. The directive, according to the leadership, is aimed at preventing confusion, maintaining order, and ensuring that all party activities follow the recognized chain of command within the Abia APC structure.
The party further warned that any SWC member who disregards this instruction will face disciplinary action in line with the party’s constitutional provisions and internal regulations.

The statement was officially endorsed by Hon. Chijioke Chukwu, who reaffirmed the commitment of the party leadership to preserving unity, discipline, and stability within the All Progressives Congress in Abia State.
E-Signed:
Hon. Chijioke Chukwu
State Chairman
