Politics: Breaking News: APC Suspends Fubara

The Ward 4 (New Layout) chapter of the All Progressives Congress in Bonny Local Government Area has announced the indefinite suspension of a party member, Fubara Dagogo.

The decision was reached during an emergency meeting of the ward’s executive committee held on March 16, 2026. According to the statement issued by the ward leadership, the suspension takes immediate effect.

The party cited several reasons for the disciplinary action, including alleged breach of its constitution, engagement in anti-party activities, disobedience to lawful directives, and conduct deemed capable of bringing the party into disrepute. The statement also accused the suspended member of making unguarded remarks against party leaders.

Ward officials noted that the actions contravened provisions of the party’s constitution, specifically Article 21.2, as amended.

The leadership further urged the state secretariat of the party in Rivers State to ratify the decision and take necessary steps in line with party procedures.
