Former Abia State lawmaker, Chijioke Chukwu, has emerged as the consensus candidate for the position of Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State.

Chukwu’s emergence followed a high-level meeting of APC stakeholders held at the residence of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Okezie Kalu.
