The chieftain of the APC in Aba South LGA, Hon. Chinedu Akpulonu, popularly known as "Kachocho," has congratulated the leadership of Abia State APC, including Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, PhD, LL.D, CFR, for successfully conducting the party congress across both ward and local government levels. He described the exercise as a remarkable demonstration of unity, transparency, and organizational excellence.

Hon. Akpulonu also expressed his appreciation to the APC leaders in Aba South and North, including Hon. Barr. Emeka Wogu, CON, Hon. Abraham U. Oba, KSJI (Onye Uwaoma), Dr. C.C. Nwogu, Hon. Uzo Azubuike, Hon. Blessing Nwagba, among others, for their dedication in ensuring a seamless and credible congress in the local government area. Their collective efforts, he noted, have strengthened the party’s foundation at the grassroots.

Using the opportunity, Akpulonu encouraged the newly elected officers to uphold the party’s principles of unity and inclusivity by engaging all members and stakeholders in the execution of their duties. He also thanked party members for turning out en masse, emphasizing that their active participation was key to the successful election of leaders who reflect the aspirations of the people.

Finally, Hon. Chinedu Akpulonu stressed that the primary task ahead is mobilization for the 2027 general elections. He urged party members to conduct door-to-door awareness campaigns in support of the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates, including the party’s governorship aspirant in Abia State, to consolidate the gains of the party and ensure continued progress.
