Hon. Chinedu Akpulonu Urges Constituents to Obtain PVC Ahead of 2027 Elections

Candidate for Aba South State Constituency, Hon. Chinedu Akpulonu has called on eligible residents and constituents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He emphasized that active participation in the electoral process begins with voter registration and the possession of a valid PVC, urging citizens not to wait until the election period before taking the necessary steps.

According to him, the PVC remains the most powerful tool for citizens to influence governance and determine the future of their communities through democratic means. He noted that meaningful change can only be achieved when eligible voters exercise their constitutional right to vote and hold elected leaders accountable through the ballot box.

"Your PVC is your power to change the wrong narratives in the electoral system," Akpulonu stated. He encouraged youths, women, and all eligible voters to take advantage of voter registration opportunities and ensure they are properly registered. He further stressed that a higher voter turnout would strengthen democracy and give the people a stronger voice in shaping the leadership and development of their constituency and the nation at large.
