Hon. Chinedu Akpulonu, popularly known as Kachocho, has officially declared his intention to contest for the Aba South State Constituency seat in the Abia State House of Assembly. The declaration took place at the Aba South APC Party Secretariat, marking a significant step in his political journey. In his address, Akpulonu expressed his commitment to grassroots development, effective representation, and the advancement of Aba South, assuring party members and constituents of purposeful leadership if given the mandate.

Among those present was former Minority Leader of the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Abraham U. Oba (KSJI), widely known as Onye Uwaoma, Hon. Sunday Udeagha A, Team Kachocho group, Hon Chukwu Dike. Also in attendance were LGA party executives, as well as ward executives from Ward One through Ward Seven, all of whom gathered to witness and support the declaration.
