Hon. Chinedu Akpulonu, popularly known as “Kachocho,” has extended warm congratulations to the former Minority Leader, Hon. Chijioke Chukwu, following his emergence as the new Abia State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He also celebrated the election of the newly constituted state executives, describing the development as a defining moment for the party’s growth and stability in Abia State.

According to Akpulonu, Hon. Chukwu’s elevation to the chairmanship position is a well-earned recognition of his years of steadfast loyalty, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the ideals and vision of the party. He noted that Chukwu has consistently demonstrated dedication and integrity in service, qualities that have now earned him the confidence of party stakeholders.

He further congratulated members of the newly inaugurated State Working Committee, emphasizing that their emergence reflects unity of purpose and the renewed determination of party faithful across the state. He observed that the outcome of the congress signals a strengthened internal democracy and collective resolve to reposition the party for greater accomplishments.

Expressing optimism about the future, Akpulonu conveyed strong confidence in Hon. Chukwu’s leadership capacity. He stated that, together with the new executives, the chairman possesses the competence and experience required to foster cohesion within the party, deepen grassroots mobilization, and champion progressive policies that will benefit both members and the people of Abia State.
