Renewed Hope Ambassador Declares Support for Hon. Chinedu Akpulonu Ahead of 2027

The Renewed Hope Ambassador group, alongside stakeholders in Aba South under the leadership of Chief Osita Ukaumunna, has announced a shift in political support ahead of the 2027 elections. The group stated that it has resolved to collapse its structure in favor of Hon. Chinedu Akpulonu, citing his consistent engagement with grassroots development.

According to the declaration, the decision was influenced by what they described as Hon. Akpulonu’s openness, accessibility, and sustained commitment to rural development initiatives across communities in Aba South. They noted that his leadership approach has demonstrated a practical understanding of local needs and priorities.

They further highlighted his responsiveness to the concerns of different demographic groups, especially women and the elderly, emphasizing that his interventions in social welfare and community support have strengthened trust among constituents. This, they said, played a major role in their decision to align with his political ambition.

Some of the stakeholders and political leaders present were Hon. Okwudiri Ukonu, Hon. Chief Charlse Nwanyanwu, Chief Douglas Ufomba, coordinators and woman leaders of ward 1-12, LGA'S executives and many members.
