Politics: Tinubu Promotes Masari As Special Adviser

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari, his close ally, as special adviser on political affairs.

According to a statement by Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga President Tinubu first appointed Masari in 2023, as a senior special assistant for the same role.

Previously, the Katsina-born politician served as the party’s welfare secretary during the tenure of Senator Adams Oshiomhole as party chairman.

As a special adviser, Masari will work alongside Alhaji Yau Darazo, whom Tinubu appointed in July 2023.
